Halim F. Abu Rahmeh
Vice Chairman, Chief Executive Officer,
Halim advises the Jordanian industrial sector on many economic issues to include those relating to the development of exports through benefiting from the various trade agreements.

Halim has also led the Jordanian industry into non-conventional markets, resulting in an increase of export share. Halim is a founding member of the USAID-Tijara initiative which aims at increasing trade with the USA through the utilization of the Jordan – US Free Trade Agreement.

Halim is also a founding member of the Jordan Vision 2020, which aims to achieve a private sector driven economic strategy to guide Jordan into the 21st century.

Halim has published various papers on export-related issues, which include “Future of Jordanian Exports in View of World Economic Changes” and “Prospects of the Free Trade Agreement between the USA and Jordan”.

Halim has been awarded the prestigious Al-Kawkab Decoration -First Order presented by the late King Hussein Bin Talal. He is a member of American Society of Association Executives, the American Marketing Association, Chartered Management Institute (CMI) as well as one of the founding members and former president of the Amman West Rotary Club.

Halim holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona; and a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Arizona.

Halim is married, and has three daughters and a son.

 

Suzan Haddadin
Export Development Services Unit Manager

Suzan Haddadin has 10 years’ experience in providing technical export assistance to SMEs. Suzan specializes in export capacity building, market research and analysis, market entry strategies, economic policy research as well as trade and investment promotion.

Prior to joining JEA, she led the Export Credit Insurance group for the Jordan Loan Guarantee Corporation. While there, she provided export support services in financing, insurance and buyer information.

Suzan has successfully completed a myriad of export marketing and management skills professional training programs. Suzan holds a B.A. in economics from Yarmouk University, Jordan

Mohammad Yousef Awad
Financial Manager

Mr. Mohammad Awad has over 11 years’ experience in planning, organizing and controlling finance for the Association. Awad has successfully managed all financial and operations for customer accounts, vendors and employees. In addition, he has organized a range of financial-related and export development training programs. Mr. Awad is in charge of organizing the participation of JEA in trade shows. Mr. Awad holds a B.A. in accounting from Mu’tah University, Jordan.

Sawsan Nazi
Executive Administrative Associate

Sawsan Nazi has successfully managed all administrative and daily operations of the office for 12 years. Prior to JEA, she was an administrative assistant in the tourism industry.

Sawsan acquired a B.A. in Business Administration from Ahliah University, Amman, 2009; and a Secretarial Diploma from Al-Wasifieh Vocational Center, 1994.
